Memories

It has been an amazing experience for grandma to watch you grow.

Your growth pencil markings on the wall, the loss of your first and second tooth, the many drawings of letters to the full spelling of your name and how your pictures show colorful shapes to figures all in a row of those you love.

Your room at grandmas have stuffed animals on a shelf replaced with Barbie dolls, cars and clothes actively placed in play.  You change your outfits more than I changed your diapers; and your smile grows more beautiful each year.

Conversations with you have always been delightful, and the depth of your thoughts reminds me not to take anything you say for granted, that us grown ups can learn so much from a child's innocent wisdom.
