Lesson 1: Become familiar with your pans first; bang them together, talk to them, lick them, see how much they hold (stuffed zebra, sea horse, bottle...).

Some Days
I'm sure at some point in your life, your parents will tell you there will be good days and bad days. Some days will be hectic and other days will be wonderful lazy days. Some weeks will fly bye and others seem to hang around too long.
This week grandma had a long week, full of good, bad, hectic and long days. When I came over to babysit, I opened the door, Murphy ran to greet me, and there you were, you squealed and pointed at me, I squealed and pointed at you. I ran over and scooped you up in my arms and gave you hug. You snuggled your head on my shoulder and patted my arm...and I knew today would be the a "good" day.
I love you LillaMai.

"What's wrong, you can't reach it?"
"Don't worry, I'll get it to you."
"Opps...sorry monkey."

Eggs
"Wait, is that eggs?"
"I don't like eggs...mom."
Grandma got out her iphone to document the moment. You enjoy eating, and the anticipation of your mother's home made baby food gave me a perfect impression for that first picture; however as the spoon got closer to you and you could smell the eggs, you immediately let us know that you don't like eggs.
So, you mother took a bite followed by "Yummmm, so good!", you still refused the eggs.

Basket of Time
When grandpa and grandma were on their honeymoon (28 years ago), we purchased a large basket in Arizona, which has held many magazines throughout the years. When your mother was your age, this was a favorite attraction to get to the basket and pull out my precious periodicals and shake them to shreds. At that time, magazines were a luxury (something I could not afford very often). I would rush to the basket replace them with toys and save the magazines.
Tonight grandma watched in amazement (thinking about time...), as I watched you head for the basket and proceed to pull out the magazines. I no longer rescued the paper of words and pictures (we have so many magazines now), I grabbed my iphone and captured this moment.
