This Moment

Sometimes grandma wishes what I know, appreciate, realize and learned now as a grandmother I would of known when I was young.  Maybe I would of made better choices,  studied harder, laughed longer, cried more, been more thankful for little things, hugged harder and smiled more...maybe.

What I do know is that moments count, they matter and they make up an entire day, a week, a month and soon years.  You have filled 7 years of grandma's life with such special moments.

Today, your grandma Mary sent me these photos starting preparation for this years fair; how much you've grown and learned since last year.  

You remind me of your mother when she was 7.  There was very little she would not try; she rose to the challenge and did her very best to succeed.  

How very proud I am of you pumpkin.  May you always look for happiness, the good, the challenge and hold on to the hope and never give up.
