Basket of Time
When grandpa and grandma were on their honeymoon (28 years ago), we purchased a large basket in Arizona, which has held many magazines throughout the years. When your mother was your age, this was a favorite attraction to get to the basket and pull out my precious periodicals and shake them to shreds. At that time, magazines were a luxury (something I could not afford very often). I would rush to the basket replace them with toys and save the magazines.
Tonight grandma watched in amazement (thinking about time...), as I watched you head for the basket and proceed to pull out the magazines. I no longer rescued the paper of words and pictures (we have so many magazines now), I grabbed my iphone and captured this moment.
